Kakheti region, Georgia: The Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Alexander Tsuladze, visited newly rehabilitated schools in the Kakheti region on June 6, 2025, Friday. He congratulated the pupils and teachers on the continuation of the learning process in a renewed environment.
The Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia shared glimpses of their meeting on its Official Facebook page. The Ministry also shared a small note along with the photographs.
According to the information shared by the Ministry, it should be noted that along with the Georgian Education Minister Aleksandre Tsuladze, the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia David Songulashvili, Chairman of the Committee of Education, Science and Youth Affairs of Georgia Givi Mikanadze, State Trustee in Kakheti Giorgi Aladashvili, Member of Parliament of Georgia Giorgi Benashvili and other guests were also present there.
Notably, the locals of the Gurjaani Municipality Villages – Arashendi and Bakurtsikhi School BS also visited and saw the results of large-scale infrastructure projects, they also got acquainted with the projects.
The guests visited both the science and computer labs, as well as the doctor’s office, educational spaces, and all the projects implemented by the Ministry.
Public schools in the villages of Arashendi and Bakurtsikhe have 500-500 students and the Agency has carried out their full rehabilitation for Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development.
The rehabilitation of Arashendi Public School amounts to six million GEL, and the total value of Bakurtsikhe School is five million GEL. Both schools fully meet both modern infrastructure and safety requirements.
As a result of the completed works, the science and computer laboratories, library, doctor’s office, and resource room are fully equipped with all the relevant learning resources, inventory, and equipment. Schools are provided with internal and external security systems.
Both schools have both open and indoor sports infrastructure, recreational areas, and a fully adapted environment for people with disabilities.
It is also noteworthy that, across the country, the development of school infrastructure continues. The goal of the Ministry is to provide a modern school environment for each student.
