Georgia: The Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze introduced the new Minister Mariam Kvrivishvili to the employees of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.
As the Prime Minister noted, Mariam Kvrivishvili has been successfully leading the field of tourism and aviation in the Ministry of Economy for several years and is sure that she will be successful as a minister.
The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Mariam Kvrivishvili thanked the Prime Minister for her confidence and noted that she will work actively with the ministry team to implement ongoing or planned projects, as well as to further develop the country’s economy and increase the welfare of the population.
Minister Mariam Kvrivishvili mentioned that the Ministry has major ongoing projects, together they will ensure that they are successfully implemented and the launch of new projects and plans, which are fully in line with government policy and the Prime Minister’s visions.
“I am sure that with united efforts and teamwork, we will bring much more success to our country, strengthening its economy and, most importantly, improving the welfare of our fellow citizens, added Mariam Kvrivishvili.
Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze thanked Levan Davitashvili, the former Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, for his work in this position and wished him success in his duties as chief adviser in new economic issues and secretary of the Economic Council. Levan Davitashvili expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for his confidence and support.
“This is the beginning of a new, very important stage – for this ministry as well and this news is always positive because in any case, the renewal brings its new initiatives, which I am sure is very necessary for the economy in general and the country as a whole,” said Levan Davitashvili.
The meeting held in the Ministry was attended by the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development and Ministry staff, as well as the heads of the institutions and organizations involved in the Ministry’s structure. Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze thanked the Ministry’s employees for their contribution to the development of the country’s economy.
