The Weather Department of Georgia has released the latest weather report for Georgia for August 27–29, 2025. According to the report shared by the weather department of the country, some regions will experience rain on August 27, while hot and mostly dry weather is expected on August 28–29.
The report states that the Capital City, Tbilisi, will experience hot and cloudy weather. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +33, +35 degrees.
The Coastal regions like Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, and Poti will experience Light, short-term rain with thunderstorms on August 27. On August 28–29, mostly dry weather is expected. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +28 to +30 degrees.
In the lowland regions of Western Georgia, like Zestafoni, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, Ozurgeti, there will be light rain with thunderstorms on August 27 and on August 28-29, hot and mostly cloudy weather. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +31, +33 degrees.
In the mountainous regions of western Georgia, like Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo, Ricoti Pass, on August 27, there is a possibility of short rain with thunderstorms, and on August 28-29, hot and mostly cloudy weather. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +28 to +33 degrees.
In the highland regions of Western Georgia, like Mestia and Bakhmaro, there is a possibility of short rain with thunderstorms on August 27, and on August 28-29, the weather will be mostly uneven. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +25 to +30 degrees.
The Georgian weather department also stated that in the Lower Kartli regions like Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Garadabani, Gori, and Tskhinvali, hot and mostly uneven weather is expected. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +33, +35 degrees.
In Kakheti regions like Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Signaghi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta, and Dedoplistskaro, hot and mostly uneven weather is expected. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +33, +35 degrees.
The mountainous regions of Eastern Georgia, which cover Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, and Pasanauri regions, will experience hot and mostly uneven weather. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +28 to +33 degrees.
In the highland regions of Eastern Georgia, regions like Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, Omalo, mostly bad weather is expected. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +23 to +28 degrees.
