Adjara, Georgia: The second stage of the construction of the “City of Dreams” by the Government of Adjara, with the support of the Government of Georgia, is actively underway.
The Chairman of the Adjara Government, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, visited the site of construction and got acquainted with the infrastructural works on the spot.

The “City of Dreams” project is considered one of the largest-scale social initiatives in the region. Its main goal is to improve the living conditions of families in need, especially eco-migrants and socially vulnerable citizens, by providing them with safe, modern, and fully furnished apartments.
Sulkhan Tamazashvili noted that one of the main priorities of the government remains to further improve the socio-economic situation of the region.
During the second phase, 9 multi-storey houses will be built, in which 1077 families will get an apartment. The new apartments will be furnished and fully equipped with gas and water infrastructure.
In addition to residential houses, educational and recreational spaces will be arranged in the area. The project will be completed in the first half of 2028. Within the first phase of construction of the “City of Dreams”, three 12-storey residential buildings were built in the area, and apartments were given to 582 families.
Construction of social houses is also actively underway in other municipalities of Adjara. By 2028, the ongoing projects will be completed, and more than 2000 families will be given furnished apartments.
Together with the chairman of the Adjara government, Giorgi Tsintsadze, the acting mayor of Batumi, and members of the Adjarian government, got acquainted with the progress of the works.
