Tbilisi, Georgia: The Rector, academician of Tbilisi State University (TSU) of Georgia, met with Georgian graduates of Harvard Summer School on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.

The students of the Tbilisi State University (TSU) participated in one of the most prestigious summer academic programs at Harvard (USA) for three weeks.
Furthermore, the alumni of the program spoke in detail about what academic and professional opportunities Harvard Summer School offered them, both the high standards of teaching and the importance of working with Harvard professors. Special attention was placed on the creation of international educational professional connections and individual development opportunities, which proved to be a valuable experience for participants.
Jaba Samushia expressed his warm gratitude towards the students for sharing their knowledge and experiences. He also emphasized that TSU will continue to offer such programs in the future, which are crucial for international student engagement and academic growth.
TSU, in partnership with Harvard University, continues its pre-selection of applicants to provide students with the opportunity to become part of one of the most prestigious summer academic programs in the United States.
Also, it should be noted that the students of TSU were allowed to participate in Harvard Summer School for the first time this year. With this, they became the first participants from Eastern Europe, which makes Georgia’s role in the international academic space even more visible. The project at TSU will continue in the future to give even more young people the chance to gain unique academic and international experiences.
