Adjara Tourism Award Ceremony – “Magnolia 2025” was held in Batumi. Within the framework of the awards, the best tourist service providers of the year were selected.
The event was attended by Sulkhan Tamazashvili, Chairman of the Adjara Government. During his speech, the Prime Minister noted that with the close cooperation of the state and the private sector, the Adjara Autonomous Republic is successfully positioned on the world tourist map.
The Chairman Sulkhan Tamazashvili noted, “Adjara Tourism Award Ceremony is a symbol of quality, professionalism, and success in the field of tourism. It is noteworthy that the Autonomous Republic of Adjara has successfully positioned itself on the world map of tourism.”
According to him, this result was achieved with the close cooperation of the state and the private sector. “Yes, you are the people who work every day to make our region special for our guests,” he added.
Sulkhan Tamazashvili thanked the Adjara Tourism and Resorts Department for this important event, and to each participant for their quality and hospitality-oriented activities. “I am sure that with joint and purposeful work we will not only strengthen the tourism potential of the region, but also make tourism one of the main drivers of economic growth, which will directly affect employment, welfare, and international positioning of our country,” said Sulkhan Tamazashvili.
During the event, a total of 10 nominations were the most trusted and rated accommodation and catering facilities, guides, and travel agencies from tourists, consumers, and the tourism sector. Also, the award of honorable tourists and the distribution of seals of thanks for their special contribution to the development and promotion of tourism were held.
“Magnolia 2025” was organized by the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Adjara. The event aims to encourage the tourism sector and improve the quality of service in the region.
The award ceremony was attended by members of the Adjara cabinet of ministers and government, as well as representatives of the tourist sector.
