Tbilisi, Georgia: The Clearing of roads from snow continues in the capital. The relevant services of Tbilisi City Hall are working in an emergency mode.

Along with Central Streets, internal roads, subway walkways, public utility stairs, and municipal transportation stops are being cleaned. In parallel with special equipment, technical salt is also distributed with live power solutions.

The mayor of the capital, Kakha Kaladze, was in Kojori together with Deputy Mayors Irakli Bendeliani and Kakha Abuladze, where he got acquainted with the process of loading salt and then cleaning the roads.

Kakha Kaladze noted, “All relevant services of the municipality are mobilized – ‘Warm Service Group’, departments.” I would like to thank the Ministry of Internal Affairs for their active cooperation with the patrol police, “112”, because if there is an emergency, the hotline is on and they provide us with information on where the situation is.

“In addition, the hotline of the capital city hall works. We also get information from bus drivers. Central roads and avenues, as well as secondary roads, are completely cleared and free to move. We don’t have any restrictions on transport anywhere. Heavy rainfall is vvvvvtonight and tomorrow, throughout the day. We, of course, are prepared and will do our best to avoid delays on the roads. The process of pouring technical salt will continue throughout the night. Here I would like to urge the population, especially in the connected territories, to refrain from moving without winter tires,” said Kakha Kaladze.

The mayor of the capital thanked the representatives of “Tbilservi Group” LLC, regional departments, and contractor companies.

Employees of the “warm service group” perform these works in a 24-hour mode. Also, representatives of all ten districts of the capital are involved in the monitoring process.

In case of traffic delays, citizens can call the hotline of “Warm Service Group”2 61 90 50 or the hotline of Tbilisi City Hall2 72 22 22, and the appropriate response will be made.

Along with the mayor of Tbilisi were present at the place, the head of the “Tbilservice Group” Giorgi Papava, the head of Mtatsminda district, David Kirkitadze, and the head of the civil service for infrastructure development, Giorgi Abutidze.
