Georgia: The electronic application to receive co-financing for agricultural equipment for harvesting will be available from March 16, 12:00 on the Rural Development Agency website www.my.rda.gov.ge. Applications will continue until the current year’s budget of the program, 5 million GEL, expires.
The Rural Development Agency of Georgia shared the information regarding the program via its official Facebook page on March 10, 2026, Tuesday. The program supports the acquisition of machinery for harvesting crops.
The amount of co-financing of the Rural Development Agency for one beneficiary, in case of agricultural machinery for harvesting, is not more than 30%, but not more than 250,000 GEL, and in case of hand tea harvesting equipment, not more than 50%, not more than 1,000 GEL.
According to the conditions of the program, the agricultural equipment to be purchased must be new (not in operation), manufactured at least two calendar years before purchase, and the warranty terms on the equipment must be applied for at least 6 months after the submission of the application. The goal of the state program is to increase the availability of agricultural harvesting machinery.
Under the State Program of Co-Financing of Harvesters Agricultural Equipment, since the beginning of the program, from 2019 to December 31, 2025, the Agency of Rural Development has been co-financed by more than 42 million GEL worth more than 121 million GEL to purchase more than 1,000 units of harvesters of different types of equipment.
The Rural Development Agency encourages farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs across Georgia to take advantage of the program, which aims to modernize the agricultural sector and improve productivity.
By supporting the purchase of modern harvesting equipment, the initiative is expected to reduce labor costs, increase efficiency during the harvesting season, and contribute to the overall development of the country’s agricultural industry.
