Members talked about the coordination of technical issues related to the construction of a joint point and discussed the progress of the next steps planned within the project.

Between Georgia and Azerbaijan, the joint project – Customs Launch Point – “Silk Road – Ifeq Iolu” aims to create infrastructure in accordance with modern standards and implement joint management systems, thereby simplifying customs control procedures. This will significantly contribute to the development of transit potential between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Head of the Customs Department, Otar Rikadze, Deputy Irakli Tevdoradze, the Head of the International Department, Archil Darakhvelidze, and other responsible personnel.
