The Mayor of the capital, Kakha Kaladze, attended the event dedicated to moving to a new stage of cooperation with Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Mariam Kvrivishvili, and President of the National Bank, Natia Turnava.

The main goal of the meeting was to promote the country’s digital transformation and to discuss innovative projects that will lay the foundation for Georgia’s regional technological hub.

The Mayor of Tbilisi addressed the participants of the event and noted that in recent years, the Georgian government has been promoting the development of the business sector, foreign investments are coming in, and the country is developing economically.

“I am glad that today Tbilisi is hosting an event where we are talking about moving to a new level of cooperation with the world leader, the largest company “Tezer”, a symbol of the digital economy.” Georgia, with its strategic partnership with “Tezer”, is taking the smallest steps, aiming to develop the technological development of the Georgian financial market and the implementation of modern technologies. I am glad as a mayor of the city and as a person living in this country that such a large company is coming into the country. This is the result of the efforts and reforms carried out by the Georgian Government, the National Bank of Georgia, and the Parliament in coordination. This is the recognition of Georgia as a reliable partner and a safe country. The most important thing is that this is the way of irreversible development of the Georgian economy, – said Kakha Kaladze.

The mayor of the capital wished the representatives of the company “Teaser” good luck and expressed his willingness to work with various foreign companies in the future.

“I want to wish the “Teaser” good luck.” We know that they have ambitious plans for Georgia. We, on our part, reaffirm and declare our readiness for cooperation and promotion. We are ready to promote the implementation of similar investments in the country,” said the mayor of Tbilisi.

During the event, the activities of “Teaser” were reviewed, which have played an important role in the global financial ecosystem since 2014. In addition, company representatives informed participants of the event about the company’s global vision and plans, including initiatives directly related to Georgia and potential cooperation.

The event was attended by “Teaser” founder Jancarlo Devazini, executive director of the company Paolo Ardoino, members of the Georgian government and parliament, as well as representatives of the public and private sectors.
