In Khashuri, on Rustaveli Street, asphalt pavement works are actively underway. At this stage, the section from Borjomi Street to Lomouri Street is being built.
The Khashuri Municipality City Hall of Georgia shared the glimpses of the asphalt pavement works, which are in its active phase, on its official Facebook page on June 3, 2026, Wednesday. The Municipality Hall also shared a small note about the works along with their glimpses.
According to the small note shared by the City Hall of Khashuri Municipality, the project is transitional and will be implemented by the co-financing of state and local budgets. Its total value is 4,646,000 GEL.
In coordination with the implementation company of the Drinking Water and Sewerage Project, road infrastructure will continue on the following sections of Rustaveli Street. Sidewalks, drainage systems, and outdoor lighting will be installed within the project.
It is noted that the rehabilitation of several important streets in Khashuri has already been completed, including: Dadiani, Kazbegi, Javakhishvili, Barnovi (with Chikhs), Niko Nikoladze, Kakha Metreveli, and Machabli.
In the central part of the city, within the framework of additional funding, the rehabilitation of Agmashenebeli, Saakadze, April 9, Asatiani, and Tevdore Priest streets will be carried out, which will continue until Osiauri settlement. Also, works on Lomouri Street and the section from Lomouri to 26 May Street are considered. Ongoing works will continue on Bekauri, Kostava, Tabidze, Kipiani, and Tumanishvili streets.
It is important that after the large-scale drinking water and sewerage projects are completed, the renovation of road infrastructure will continue gradually throughout the city, significantly improving both transport and the daily living conditions of the local population.
