The Blue Berry 13 Ltd. has built a blueberry plantation of modern standards on the territory of Griboedov Street, on the road connecting the city of Samtredia and the village of Ettsri. At this stage in agriculture, the first harvest is underway, and active work is underway.
The Official Facebook group of Samtredi people shared the information about the project along with its glimpses on June 16, 2026, Tuesday. According to the information provided by the Official Facebook Group, it should be noted that the agriculture fully meets the requirements of international agro-food production standards, ensuring that it produces high-quality, safe, and export potential products.
It is also noteworthy that this is another successful project in the direction of agricultural development, which was implemented in Samtredia municipality.
This project was implemented with the support of the state and is already a successful example of business development, modern agriculture, and local employment. About 80 to 100 people are employed in the blueberry harvesting process every day, including locals and citizens from neighboring municipalities.
The mayor of Samtredia Municipality, David Bakhtadze, along with the representatives of the municipality and representatives of the relevant services of the municipality, inspected the ongoing works on site. The mayor of the municipality got acquainted with the company’s activities and thanked the company’s representatives for the successfully implemented project.
“This is a successful and exemplary project that clearly demonstrates the potential our municipality has for agricultural development.” Investments like these must create new jobs, boost economic activity, and provide employment opportunities for residents.
