The Presentation of the anniversary album – “Liana Asatiani 100” published with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Georgia, was held in the National Palace. Nino Toradze, Shorena Shaverdashvili and Nikoloz Tsulukidze presented the album to the guests.
The Ministry of Culture of Georgia shared glimpses of the presentation event on its official Facebook Page on July 10, 2026, Friday. The Georgian Ministry of Culture also shared a small note about the event along with its glimpses.
According to the small note shared by the Ministry, it should be noted that the Georgian Minister of Culture, Tinatin Rukhadze, attended the event together with First Deputy Maka Gurgenidze.
“It’s a joy that an anniversary album about Liana Asatiani was published. You will be reminded that Liana Asatiani and Toradze’s family are an important part of Georgian culture; therefore, this book is not only georgiaonline.ge/culture-ministry-honors-memory-of-liana-isakadzea biography of one artist, but a history of the whole era and people who contributed greatly to the development of Georgian cinema and music”, – said Tinatin Rukhadze.
The anniversary album includes personal records of Liana Asatiani, Toradze family archive and photographs preserved in the collection of the Georgian Palace of Art, as well as fragments of the actress’ letters, recordings and interviews.
The creative biography of Liana Asatiani is connected to the golden age of Georgian cinematography and the scene of Marjanishvili Theater. A special place in the album goes to the actor’s son, pianist Lekso Toradze.
Shorena Shaverdashvili is the publisher of the anniversary album; composer Nikoloz Tsulukidze and theater expert Lela Arabidze worked on the text material.
The event was organized by the “Toradzees Foundation” and Shorena Shaverdashvili’s publishing house.
