The Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia,
Givi Mikanadze, congratulated students, teachers and representatives of the administration of the college “Modus” in Rustavi on the beginning of the new academic year. He also wished them a successful and productive academic year.

Givi Mikanadze spoke about the importance of the activities and achievements of “
Modus” and noted that the institution is one of the successful colleges that offers students diverse and tailored educational programs to meet the demands of the labor market.
The minister emphasized the special role of vocational education in the economic and social development process of the country. According to him, vocational education institutions have made a significant contribution in preparing qualified staff for the demands of the labor market.
Ilia Jalaghania, Mayor of Rustavi city Nino Latsabidze, and Chairman of Rustavi city council Mamuka Rekhviashvili also congratulated college students and administration, along with the minister.
College “Modus” serves more than 1000 students and listeners during the year and operates in two locations of the Lower Kartli region –
Rustavi and Marneuli. By the way, in total it carries out 24 professional educational programs. Among them are programs that integrate the results of secondary-level education into general education.
The College partners with correctional facilities where more than 100 inmates go through training in 5 different programs each year to master the profession.
