Tbilisi: An Indian media delegation recently visited Georgia. The delegation visited the country’s famous tourist attractions. This will promote Georgia as a travel destination on an international scale as well.
These are the representatives of highly rated Indian media houses, including the members of the Deccan Herald. The office of the National Tourism Administration of Georgia is the main host of these representatives. The members of the Indian delegation visited many places such as the capital city of Tbilisi, Martvili Canyon, Mestia, Mtskheta, Tskaltubo, Ushguli, Sighnaghi, and Lopota.
They also visited the Lagodekhi National Park which is known for its uniqueness. At the same time the delegation members attended the Taste Fest, which was held in Zugdidi city. At the conclusion of their visit the members of the Deccan Herald and Indigo will prepare materials about the festival and introduce Georgian cuisine to readers across India and other countries of the world as well.
One of the members Kunal Brati of the delegation said “Georgia is in fact a wonderfull country. What we have seen wherever we have visited, makes us happy. We tasted the beautiful world-famous Georgian dishes.”
He further stated that ” the Indian people will definitely like these places. The people of Georgia are very open-hearted. The tourists will surely like the hospitality of Georgians.”
Another member of the delegation, sharing his thoughts about the visit said, We visited Georgia on the invitation of the National Tourism of Georgia. We will stay here for some other days. We have already visited Zugdidi, where the Taste Fest is held and enjoyed the delicious Georgian dishes as well.
Similarly another member expressed the same thoughts and said that we were received with a warm welcome at every place we visited. The Indian delegation will also prepare a dedicated report on the country’s mining and health resorts.
They will highlight Georgia’s culture, cuisine, wine, nature, and adventure tourism. Deccan Herald’s print edition has more than one million readers. Moreover its online platform will have 15 million visitors, which also shows its unique presence.
