Adigeni Municipality City Hall is implementing 19 different programs to ensure social assistance and health care for the population. The list of these health care programs was shared recently by municipality.
The representative of municipality while spealing about success of program said that in 2025 large number of people will be eligible to avail services. Moreover, work is on to execute more such health initiative in the future year.
The list of health care program is per following:
- Pharmacy and medical services up to 200 GEL will be financed for socially vulnerable people with a household income of 0-65,000 inclusive. Disabled people and those who have lost their breadwinners will be provided additional information
- Pharmacy and medical services for beneficiaries with a household income of 65,001-150,000 inclusive will be financed by 55%
- A beneficiary who cannot present a document confirming his/her financial situation will have his/her medical and pharmacy services up to 2000
- Medical services for foster children living in the territory of Adigeni Municipality (regardless of the place of registration) will be subsidized by 50%
- Medical and pharmacy services for oncological patients will be provided at 70% three times during the calendar year
- For disabled persons and socially vulnerable persons under the age of 18, physiotherapy and psychosocial rehabilitation will be financed 100%
- For adolescents under the age of 18, physiotherapy and psychosocial rehabilitation will be financed by 50%
- For disabled persons and socially vulnerable persons over the age of 18, physiotherapy and psychosocial rehabilitation will be financed by:
- a) 1000 GEL 100%
- b) From 1000 to 2000 GEL inclusive by 50%
- c) From 2000 to 5000 GEL inclusive by 40%
- d) Above 5000 GEL by 35%
- Kinesiotherapy for those over 18 years of age will be financed:
- a) 50% up to and including 2000 GEL
- b) 40% from 2000 GEL to 5000 GEL
- c) 35% over 5000 GEL
- Physiotherapy for war and defence forces veterans will be financed by 50% of the amount, not exceeding 2000 GEL
- Medical and pharmacy services will be financed twice for those individuals who meet at least one of the following criteria:
- a) have been granted the status of a single parent
- b) have been granted the status of a large family
- c) are single pensioners
- d) have been granted the status of a person without a breadwinner
- e) have no stable monthly income
- f) Has been granted the status of a disabled person
Some other social programs include:
- Assistance for a newborn
- Assistance to an extremely needy family
- a) A family whose economic situation is difficult will be provided with one-time assistance from the local budget
- b) A family that has lost a member and does not have the expenses for his or her funeral will be provided with assistance for ritual events in the amount of 300 GEL
- c) Burial and ritual expenses of an unaccompanied deceased are 300 GEL
- d) Families affected by natural disasters (in their living space) will be provided with one-time assistance (
- e) Citizens aged one hundred and over will be provided with one-time assistance from the local budget in the amount of 500
- Large families with four or more minor children will be provided with assistance in the amount of 400 GEL
- Assistance for persons under 18 years of age and over 18 years of age with severe disabilities (Group I) – 300 GEL
- Assistance for veterans of the Defence Forces with disabilities (Group I) – 300 GEL
- Assistance to families displaced from the occupied territories of Georgia is 200 GEL
- Assistance to families of soldiers who died in wars for the territorial integrity of Georgia is 400 GEL
- Assistance to the family of a deceased war veteran is 250 GEL
