Adigeni: The administration of the Adigeni Municipality invited applications for the Honorary Citizens Award. Applications will be accepted until September 6, 2024.
It is worth mentioning that the Honorary Citizen Award is given every year on Adigeni’s holiday. The award recognises the services of Georgian and foreign citizens towards society.  The eligible candidates are selected by the temporary working group created to award the title of honorary citizen of Adigeni municipality. There are some following categories for which the award is conferred:
- A) Special award presented to Georgia and Adigeni Municipality for the meritious services
- b) Award for long, impeccable service and high professionalism in the work of rebuilding the country
(c) To the citizens of foreign countries for special contribution to Georgia and the municipality of Adigeni as well as for their significant contribution to the establishment of friendly ties with the municipality of Addigeni.
As per the rules and terms the application for the title of honorary citizen of Adigeni municipality should be submitted to the administrative office of the City Hall. Eligible people can submit the application to the Mayor of Adigeni municipality or to the Chairman of Adigeni Municipality City Council.
The other conditions of competition include:
1) Non-entrepreneurial (non-commercial) legal person registered on the territory of Adigeni municipality are also eligible
2) Â Â The representation for the candidacy can be carried out in writing, which should be accompanied by:
(3) Recommendation of an authorized organization or persons representing the candidate for awarding the Honorary Citizen of Adigeni Municipality title.
4) Documentary materials showing the candidate’s salary and merit (if there is any)
(5) Copy of the submitted candidate’s identification document
The Adigeni Municipality also shared information in this regard on its social media handles. Interested people can visit its official Facebook page to get extra information. Social media users has appreciated the noble initiative of the Municipality to honor senior citizens.
