Adjara: A free medical camp held for citizens of region

The administration of the Adjara region has organized a free medical camp for the locality’s residents. Many people have benefited from this camp and the municipality plans to organize more such camps in the future.

Today Nino Nizharadze the Minister of Health and Social Protection of Adjara visited camp and  familiarized herself with medical services at the Khulo Medical Center and the Ghorjomi Community Outpatient Clinic. This camp benefits people of all age groups  including children.

The Minister of Health and Social Protection of Adjara Nino Nizharadze also interacted with people who visited these camps to get treatment for a number of medical ailments. During the interaction the minister added “The administration periodically holds free medical campaigns for the population of mountainous Ajara and we are committed to providing such facilities in the future as well.”

At the same time she added that “within the framework of these medical camps  the consultation and medical treatments are carried out by invited doctors with many years of experience. Therefore  for prevention and early diagnosis  highly qualified services are provided to the locals.

Under these series of camp as per the minister tomorrow a free medical training will be provided to the workers on the equipment at the “Beshumi” resort ambulatory so that they can learn the latest treatment strategy as well. Doctors from the high-tech hospital Medcenter and the Georgia Clinics network are involved in these medical facilities.

The eye specialist checked the eyes of children with the latest and modern machines. Moreover the required medicine, eye drops and spectacles were  provided to them. The Ministry of Health Sciences shared glimpses of the camp on its social media handles. The Facebook post shows the minister interacting with people and discussing the number of problems people are facing.

People also shared their views with the Minister regarding improving health services in the region. The minister assured that all the demands of the people of the area would be fulfilled shortly.
