Adjara, Georgia: The discussion of the mid-term priorities of the Ministry of Health of Adjara for 2026-2029 was held at the Ministry of Health & Social Affairs of Adjara on May 10, 2025, Saturday.
The Ministry of Health & Social Affairs of Ajara shared the glimpses of the meeting on its official Facebook Page. The Ministry also posted some details about the meeting.
According to the plan, the combined budget for 2026 of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Adjara will increase by 11.8% and will be 90,500,000 GEL. The medium-term priorities of the Ministry were presented to the representatives of medical institutions and rehabilitation centers.
The current programs will continue this year and several changes are planned to be implemented. Furthermore, the number of beneficiaries will increase, the share of funding from the Ministry, and new programs will be implemented. Accordingly, the Ministry will implement 39 programs together with various organizations in the next year.
Moreover, the Minister Nino Nizharadze led the meeting. The document of priorities was presented by the First Deputy Minister, Mari Zanakidze. He presented the document along with the head of the Adjara Public Health Center, Rusudan Shavishvili. Many discussions related to the documents were done at the meeting.
According to the budget law, the next review of the Ministry’s medium-term priorities will be held in August.
