Adjara: The minister of Culture of Ajara, Eliso Bolkvadze, began to attend meeting with the employees of the Union of Museums of Ajara. The meetings are aimed to discuss multiple issues of relevance.
It is worth to note that the ministry is working round the clock to raise the awareness on rich history and culture of Georgia. The role of staff of local as well as national museums is very important in these directions.
The some of issues which were discussed by Georgia are the current and new projects, ways to solve challenges and improving cooperation were discussed in a discussion format.
At the occasion of this meeting, Eliso Bolkvadze noted that the establishment of the Ministry of Culture as a separate structure means how important cultural policy is for the state. She also noted that we need to more effectively communicate the results of our work to the public and involve young people more in various projects.
The Minister thanked the museum employees for their interesting activities and initiatives. According to the Minister of Culture of Ajara, the discussion on specific projects and details will continue in a working format.
The minister while expressing views about this meeting said we all have great responsibility to make our next generation aware on the rich history and cultural values of Georgia.
She also revealed about many plans of ministry which have been taken in the past my ministry. Moreover, minister also shed light on the future plans of ministry.
According to ministry the staff of museum can play a significant role in these directions as well. The museum employees while sharing their views demand said, although the museums have been getting enough support from the government but there is need to provide more financial support so that museum can maximise their efforts for upliftment of rich heritage and cultural values of Georgia.
