Adjara: The tourism department of Adjara, Georgia hosted representatives of international media houses and social media influencers. The aim of hosting the delegation was to promote the tourism destination of Adjara and attract the maximum number of tourists to the region’s attractions.
It is to be specifically mentioned that Media professionals from 10 countries are visiting Georgia’s Black Sea city of Batumi. Their long visit is part of the strategy to promote the beautiful location of the western region of Adjara.
The journalists and influencers are from countries like India, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, and Turkey. At the end of the month, they will be joined by colleagues from Armenia, Estonia, Finland, and Uzbekistan.
It should be added that some of the Kazakh influencers received a “great response” on social media, reaching over five million people. During their tours the influencers explored the old town of Batumi. They visited the city’s many famous locations including Boulevard, Botanical Garden, nearby Gonio resort town, remains of the Roman Petra Fort and other tourist attractions while also sampling local cuisine and wine.
Adjara is a site in Georgia with historical significance. Tourists can enjoy a glimpse of nature’s beauty. They can explore captivating beaches and lush green mountains. The place is also known for its peacefull locations as it has a location far away from the busy and noisy environment of the cities. There are four protected areas in Adjara full of diverse flora and fauna.
Nature lovers can explore green lake, black lake, Kintrsihi National Park, and Mtisubani’s natural fridge. The Batumi natural garden in the Adjara is one of the place’s main attractions. This is one of the world’s largest and richest botanical gardens, established more than 100 years ago. The tourism department has taken many initiatives in the past as well to promote Adjara tourism at the highest level.
