Riyadh: Georgia agency of protected areas participated in the international exhibition. The exhibition in being held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia under theme, Saudi Travel Market 2025.

As per the official Facebook post, “The Agency for Protected Areas participated in the international exhibition Saudi Travel Market 2025 in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The opening of the large-scale international exhibition was attended by Yuri Nozadze, Deputy Minister of Environment and Agriculture.”
Yuri Nozadze, Deputy Minister of Environment and Agriculture while sharing his views after participation added, “Participation in events and exhibitions of such a scale is an important opportunity both for the promotion of Georgia and its unique nature, as well as for attracting international visitors to the country.”
He further added, “In recent years, the number of visitors from Saudi Arabia to Georgian protected areas has been increasing. Accordingly, active work in this direction will further contribute to raising awareness, increasing visitor flows, and developing the economy,”.
It is also worth to note that, Participants and visitors of the Saudi Travel Market 2025 exhibition learned about the opportunities for ecotourism and adventure tourism in Georgia and received detailed information about Georgia’s protected areas.
At the same time the event featured presentations, panel discussions and B2B meetings, which will help deepen international partnerships and promote tourism potential.

The agency of protected area official said that they are happy to be part of this international event. Thay also added that they are expecting more inflow of international tourists to country.
