Georgia: The Georgian Zarzma Monastery Foundation “Savane” organized the Mathematics Olympiad “Zarzma” for third to eighth-grade students of Akhaltsikhe, Adigeni, Aspindza, and Borjomi public schools.
The top five students from each class, who demonstrated exceptional skills, were awarded valuable gifts and stamps, a testament to their hard work and dedication.
Metropolitan Bishop Theodore of Akhaltsikhe and Tao-Klarjeti and State Trustee Besik Amiranashvili of Samtskhe-Javakheti were congratulated on their Olympic victory and wished them success in their future endeavors, inspiring hope and optimism for these young talents’ bright futures.
The event was also a platform to express gratitude for the invaluable support of the Zarzma Academy’s fruitful cooperation with the administration of the State Trustee of Samtskhe-Javakheti, Akhaltsikhe, Aspindza, Adigeni and Borjomi municipalities. The support provided by the Rondel Foundation and World Vision Georgia in the educational process of the Academy was also highlighted, fostering a sense of gratitude and appreciation among all present.
The event performed musical and choreographic numbers by “Theater Quartet” and ensemble “Zarzma.”
The event was attended by Archimandrite Nikolozi, Mayor of Akhaltsikhe Municipality Irakli Lazarashvili, Chairman of the City Council David Lomidze, Mayor of Adigeni Municipality Gocha Kimadze and Mayor of Aspindza Municipality Rostom Magrakvelidze, representatives of State Trustee Administration, local self-government, city society and educational sphere, teachers, students The lees and their parents were in attendance.
Georgian Zarzma Monastery Foundation “Savane” was founded in 2007, while Zarzma Children’s Academy has been functioning since 2019. With their efforts, talented students are learning mathematics and physics for free with a reinforced program. One of the babies they have trained over the years is Komarov, who was enrolled in Tbilisi Physics-Mathematics Public School No199 and continues to study.
