Tbilisi, Georgia: The Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Aleksandre Tsuladze, attended the sports tournaments held in Tbilisi on May 10, 2025, on Saturday. The sports tournaments were held within the framework of the Student Festival – “Studfest 2025.”
The Youth Agency of Georgia shared glimpses of the festival on its official Facebook page. The Agency also shared the snippets of the sports tournaments along with the photographs of Studfest 2025.
In Addition, the Youth Agency noted that more than 30 university students participated in the student festival.
Along with the minister were Giorgi Chakvetadze, Member of Parliamentary Majority, Geno Petriashvili, Head of Civil Service of Culture, Education, Sports and Youth Affairs of Tbilisi City Hall, Irakli Gvilava, Tbilisi Municipality City Council Sport and Youth Affairs Commission Chairman Guram Okropiridze, and the duty of the head of the youth agency, Artist Vakhtang Baakashvili.
“Studfest” is organized by the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia. It was organized in cooperation with the Youth Agency of the Youth of Tbilisi, the City Hall of Tbilisi, and the Association of Student Organizations of Georgia.
Main Goals of Studfest 2025:
- To develop the capacities of youth, promote healthy living, and spread cultural and creative ideas among youth;
- develop students’ professional and intellectual skills through interactive activities;
- Promote volunteering, teamwork, critical thinking, and imagining innovative ideas Promotion;
- Creating a cohesive space where students can interact, share experiences, and learn new knowledge for the reception.
However, the festival will last for six months. It will include holding inter-university sports tournaments and cultural, educational, and voluntary activities at Studfest. The youth festival, in addition to sports, educational, cultural, and voluntary direction, also includes a fan prize.
Notably, Students of higher and professional educational institutions can participate in “Studfest”.
