Kvareli, Georgia: The Georgian Minister of Education, Science, and Youth, Alexander Tsuladze, spoke at the event held in Kvareli on Iliaoba 2024″.
“The courage, progress, and knowledge of our pupils is the Iliaoba way through which a peaceful, successful, and prosperous future of our homeland is built,” – Georgian Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Alexander Tsuladze said at the event.
A traditional public celebration was held in Kvareli to mark the 187th anniversary of Ilia Chavchavadze’s birth. Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze, Speaker of Parliament Shalva Papuashvili, and Minister of Education, Science and Youth Aleksandre Tsuladze attended.
At the “Iliaoba 2024” event, the minister gave a speech in front of the attending society, including pupils and teachers of Kvarli municipality, and discussed Ilia Chavchavadze’s particular year.
Alexandre Tsuladze: “November 8 is an important date for all Georgians and patriots. Today, we celebrate the 187th year since the birth of one of the greatest achievers in the history of our country, Ilia Chavchavadze. Ilia Chavchavadze’s contribution in shaping Georgian national consciousness is immeasurable. The range of his reach is astounding – poetry, prose, critique, literary history, publicity, sociology, economics, agriculture, finance, law, to name one. No important cultural or educational initiative was left, and the initiator or direct participant was Ilia Chavchavadze. I want to address our youths: your courage, progress, and knowledge are the only way to build a peaceful, prosperous, and prosperous future for our homeland. Dear pupils, you are Georgia’s tomorrow and future. Therefore, we will not spare any effort to ensure that you get a quality education and your knowledge is still useful for the well-being of the motherland.”
Georgian executive, legislative, and local authorities and clergymen attended the event dedicated to the 187th anniversary of Ilia Chavchavadze’s birth.
