Ambrolauri, Georgia: The Director of Ambrolauri Cultural Center, Tamaz Daushvili, presented a report on the activities in 2024 and talked about current, planned and future events.
The representatives from Ambrolauri-Guram Panjikidze’s main library and local libraries attended the A(a)IP Ambrolauri Cultural Center held on December 13, 2024.
The representatives of Guram Panjikidze main and village libraries talked about the activities implemented and planned for the future, as well as the problematic issues that need timely solutions.
At the working meeting, which was held under the leadership of the First Deputy Commissioner of State of Lower Svaneti, Kristina Kobakhidze, the 2025 budget of A(a)IPs was also planned.
“It is very important that libraries have become cultural and creative centers, besides developing adult literacy. I welcome libraries to initiate educational conferences, in-school Olympics, exhibitions of student work, presentations of new projects, and more. It is very important for us, also that the library infrastructure meets modern requirements and to have a rich book fund. We are trying to solve all problems step by step. I would also like to thank every employee of the House of Culture, this year they have given us many happy, successful, memorable days and I hope there will be even more successes ahead, ” stated Kristina Kobakhidze.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Mayor of Ambrolauri Municipality – Tamar Kevanashvili and the Head of Financial Services of the City Hall – Bejan Kobakhidze.
These kinds of gatherings will support the municipality’s development in several areas, including tourism, the economy, and environmental sustainability, which will directly lead to the development of the whole nation.
Similar meetings with the representatives of different A(A)IPs will continue periodically, which will contribute to the more effective work of organizations and further development of specific areas.
