A significant meeting of the Ambrolauri Municipality was held recently. This was to discuss and review the projects that have been completed in the last year. The meeting also discussed the future plans of the municipality as well.
On this occasion the Mayor of the municipality Zviad Mkheidze presented a report on the work done in 2023.
The mayor of the municipality reviewed in detail the works carried out last year. These works were related to the arrangement of infrastructure the creation of an environment conducive to economic development, the improvement of the social and health status of the population, the development of education, culture, and sports, and other important issues.
Mayor also added “When implementing any project we try to take into account the opinion of the society and guidance from them according to the priorities highlighted as well. Solving all problems together is very difficult but step-by-step everything is being done to improve the socio-economic status of the local population”.
Mayor further stated, “I am sure 2024 will be much more successful and will fix all the flaws that were recorded this year”. Moreover the municipality will also enhance public participation in the local administration so that they can share their views with the municipality representatives.
Zviad Mkheidze mayor added “I would like to thank every one of you for standing by me and supporting me. With determination and hard work many more projects or programs will be implemented that will contribute to the development of the municipality and improvement of the living conditions of the population”.
He said that the municipality is always committed to upgrading the standard of living of all the citizens of the municipality as well. In the future more initiatives will be taken in this direction as per the Mayor.
