The administration of Ambrolauri Municipality is all set to implement new housing project. An amount of 108000 GEL has been reserved for constructing housing infrastructure for residents.
This new housing project will be part of the social program which includes the construction of residential houses for homeless and especially families living in extremely difficult conditions.
This year, 108,000 GEL has been allocated for the program and by the end of the year many families will be given affordable housing facilities also. The representative of  municipality said that, the  program is intended to provide housing for socially vulnerable families who are covered under  100,001 rating points.
The person belonging to homeless and/or especially difficult living conditions people registered in the municipality and permanently residing will also be allowed to avail benefit under this one of very important housing project.
In order to avail the benefits of this housing program an interested family need to apply to the Ambrolauri Municipality City Hall. The last date to apply project benefits is March 1, 2025. The application must indicate a specific request for the construction or purchase of a residential house.
The further information also added that in case of homelessness family a citizen must submit a document confirming the lack of housing space along with record from the public registry for all family members. Similarly in case of difficult living conditions, a relevant expert opinion on an uninhabitable house family is currently living should be submitted.
In case of construction of housing  a necessary condition is that the person/family applying must own an appropriate land plot. In case of purchasing housing,the applicant must fill  and submit an application to the municipality for the purchase of an appropriate apartment/house. The total values of housing project should not be more than 54,000 GEL.
It is also to be noted that all the beneficiaries will be selected by a special commission. The assessment will be made using a point system, taking into account the socio-economic status of the family and living conditions.
