The state commissioner of Racha-Lechkhum-Kvemo Svaneti Papuna Margvelidze and Majoritarian Deputy Gocha Enukidze held a working meeting with representatives of the regional ministries.
It is to be specifically mentioned that in this year’s first session, government representatives summarized the past year activities and talked about future plans as well in detail.
It is to be noted that in the Racha-Lechkhumi and Lower Svaneti regions in the last year 2023 many projects have been proposed. For road infrastructure 83 projects were implemented from different foundations and in total up to 103 km of asphalt concrete cover work was also done.
Similarly under the framework of the program ”Renewed Regions” 4 squares have been arranged across the region. They will provide better facilities to all the citizens of the localities.
On the other hand to develop educational infrastructure with the support of the Georgian government, the complete rehabilitation works of 13 public schools in the region are planned from 2023 to 2025 and on this project a total amount of 20 000 000 GEL will be spent as well.
Additionally within the framework of the Kindergartens Construction and Rehabilitation Program it is planned to build 4 new kindergartens of modern standards with an amount of 948230 GEL and complete rehabilitation of 4 kindergartens with a cost 11 267 000 GEL will be completed as well.
Moreover the construction of necessary projects will continue actively and for the first stage 21 million GEL was allocated from the funds and work will be carried out at 95 sites shortly.
The meeting was held in question-answer mode, and specific plans were made with the coordinated work of the internal administration and municipal and regional services to solve existing problems of the locality as well.
During the working meeting with the representatives of the regional services of the ministries, the deputies of the State Commissioner, Christina Kobakhidze, Aluda Tutisan, Berdia Chanxeliani, Mayor of Ambrolauri Municipality-Zviad Mkheidze and Chairman of the City Council Aslan Saganelidze were also present. They shared their views on topic and agenda of the meeting as well.
