The Anti-Corruption Bureau became a member of the European Partners against Corruption Network (EPAC) on November 3, 2023. At the 22nd Annual General Assembly in Dublin, all organisation members supported joining the Georgian Anti-Corruption Bureau Network.
“The European Partners against Corruption Network” (The European Partners against Corruption/EPAC) was founded in 2004. It is an independent, informal union bringing together more than 60 EU and Council of Europe member states for anti-corruption and police supervision.
The organisation’s members share their experiences, working together to create a common strategy and a higher professional standard.
Cooperation with international and partner organizations is an essential prerequisite for maintaining and improving the achievements of the fight against corruption. Therefore, it has become important for us to join an international organization such as the Anti-Corruption Partners Network (EPAC).
Joining this organization is one of the advanced steps that will make a significant contribution to the democratic and economic development of the country and the fight against corruption.
The Georgian Anti-Corruption Bureau granted membership to the European Partners against Corruption (EPAC) on November 3, 2023. All members of the organization supported the joining of the Anti-Corruption Bureau of Georgia into the network at the 22nd Annual General Assembly (AGM) in Dublin.
The European Partners against Corruption/EPAC was founded in 2004. EPAC is an independent, informal association that brings together more than 60 judicial and policing supervision services against the publication of the EU and Council of Europe members. Members of the organization collaborate on shared plans, exchange experiences, and uphold high standards for professionalism.
Cooperation with international and partner organizations is an essential precondition for sustaining and increasing current successes in the fight against corruption. Therefore, it was crucial for us to join an international organization such as “The Network of European Partners against Corruption” (EPAC).
Joining the previously mentioned organization is one of the initial steps that will significantly contribute to the country’s democratic and economic growth, as well as the fight against corruption.
