The Georgian Culture Days are being held in Yerevan, the capital of the Republic of Armenia. It is an event that showcases Georgian culture and deepens ties between the two countries. This event was led by Georgian Minister of Culture, Tinatin Rukhadze.
The Minister of Culture Tinatin Rukhadze visited Armenia along with a Georgian Delegation led by her. The delegation includes representatives of the Georgian parliament and cultural figures.
The visit includes a meeting of the Georgian minister of culture with the Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Minister of Armenia, Zhanna Andreasyan, and visits to various cultural institutions of Armenia.
The event was held within the framework of the ceremonial reception dedicated to the Independence Day of Georgia. It is also noteworthy that Georgian Culture Days will be held from June 5 -7 in Yerevan.
The Ministry of Culture of Georgia shared glimpses of both the events i.e. the reception and the Culture Days on its official Facebook page on June 5, 2025, Thursday. The Ministry also shared a small note along with the photographs.
According to the note shared by the Ministry, it should be noted that the reception was held at the Embassy of Georgia.
Participants of the reception are:
- the Minister of Culture of Georgia Tinatin Rukhadze,
- the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia Zhana Andreasiani,
- the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Armenian Ruben Rubiniani,
- the Deputy Minister of Culture of Georgia Giorgi Mirtskulava,
- the Ambassador of Emergency and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Armenian Giorgi Sharvashidze.
It should be noted that other guests were also present there.
The Ministers of Culture of Georgia and the Republic of Armenia and the Emergency and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Armenians Giorgi Sharvashidze addressed the society. Anthems of the Republic of Georgia and Armenia were performed. Tinatin Rukhadze spoke about the centuries-old friendly and friendly relations between Georgia and Armenia.
The evening was arranged musically by the ensemble “Fortem”, David Mazanashvili’s band, singers Archil Nizharadze and Dato Khujadze.
