Georgia: The Art Museum Gallery opened a personal exhibition of Mzia Khalvashi’s works, “Familiar Landscapes,” On August 20, 2024, at 16:00.
Mzia Khalvashi was born in 1947 in Batumi. Georgian poet, prosaicist, Shota Rustaveli award winner Fridon Khalvashi’s family.
Works in painting and graphics. He has been participating in exhibitions since 1970. There are authors of several personal exhibitions and participants in many group exhibitions in Georgia and outside its borders.
Mzia Khalvashi, an honored painter of Adjara, is not just a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Honor and a laureate of various international art festivals, but also an active participant in both republican and international exhibitions. Her works, a testament to her active involvement, are preserved in galleries and private collections in multiple countries.
The exhibition ‘Familiar Landscapes‘ is not just a display of Mzia Khalvashi’s art, but a personal journey dedicated to her native side – Adjara, inviting the audience to share in her intimate connection with the region.
The exhibition will continue until August 26.
