The representative of the National Tourism Administration of Georgia expressed hopes that the ATM(Arabain Travel Market) trade fair will make Georgian tourism famous worldwide. The association is participating in the ATM Dubai-2024 fair which is being held from May 6 to 9, 2024.
This is the 31st edition of the trade fair where more than 3000 products, and services offered by the travel industries of the respective countries will be displayed for the participants of the event. The fair has received at least 40000 visitors from more than 150 countries of the world.
As per the administration, there was a huge rush of the visitors to Georgian pavilion which shows the growing interest among international tourists in Georgia. It is to be specifically mentioned that the ATM Dubai-2024 is the largest tourism exhibition in the Persian Gulf countries which attracts huge footfall of travel enthusiasts across the globe.
The National Tourism Administration participated in the fair along with the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Adjara, and the Imereti Destination Management Organization. Moreover, about 30 tourism companies and hotels in Georgia are also participating in the ongoing tourist exhibition in the United Arab Emirates.
On this occasion, the tourists at Georgia’s stand visitors get updated information about Georgia’s tourist spots, mining, marine resources, and protected areas as well. The National Tourism Administration has offered tickets to attend the concerts of the German rock legend Scorpions and the British electronic music project “Jungle”.These were for the visitors of the Dubai International Tourism Exhibition.Moreover, within the framework of the “Staring Georgia” campaign, concerts will be held at the Black Sea Arena shortly as well.
It is also to be added that the National Tourism Administration, together with private individuals, is negotiating with large tourism companies from other countries. This will increase the inflow of tourists from the Gulf countries into Georgia.
