A series of events are being organised by the many municipalities across Georgia for christmas and new year. Recently a Christmas procession, also known as “Alilo”, was organised.
A large number of people participated in the event to share the happy moment with each other. In connection with the Christmas holiday in Batumi, the traditional Christmas procession Alilo was organised as per the reports. It is to be noted that the festive procession was started from the Cathedral of Nativity of the Virgin Mary.
On this occasion, Adjara Minister of Health and Social Protection Nino Nizharadze and Deputy Minister Eduard Nakashidze joined the march together with the members of the government.
Members of the government congratulated the participants of the Alilo March and handed out Christmas gifts.
There was a toy train as well for the children who were happy to ride the toy train. Many representatives of the ministry were also there to congratulate the people. They also brought with them baskets filled with gift items. The gift items include sweets, toys for little children, as well as many other beautiful things.
On the occasion many religious leaders were also present. The children who took part in the event were carrying the photo of Jesus Christ in their hands.
Besides these children many other attendees were also carrying the photo of Jesus Christ in their hands as well. At the same time throughout the entire travel procession, people welcome it. They hugged each other at the same time as well and exchanged the best wishes for each other.
The representative of the ministry, while congratulating the citizen, wished that “may this new year fulfil all your wishes and make your life more successful and prosperous; god bless you all”.
The ministry of health and social welfare also took to their social media hanles a to share the information regarding this procession . large number of social meida gave mixed reaction. One user Eka Vashakidze commented that “Oh, they are very kind people. They are mine. My disabled person, sick brother, in front of the government house. I was begging you to finance my brother’s operation. It didn’t get worse. They didn’t pay attention to Rizhvadze. This is your humanity. Bravo, you advertise yourselves so well.”
