A large-scale employment forum is being held in the Sheraton Batumi Hotel in cooperation with the State Employment Promotion Agency, Adjara Employment Agency, and Batumi State University.
The Forum’s inauguration was graced by the presence of key officials, including Minister of Labor, Health and Social Protection Mikheil Sarjveladze, Minister of Health and Social Protection of Adjara Nino Nizharadze, Chairman of the Committee on Health and Social Affairs of the High Council of Adjara, Ilia Verdzadze, all of whom play crucial roles in the employment sector.
The Forum offers diverse job opportunities, with 75 companies from Adjara presenting over 2000 vacancies. Job seekers can explore roles in various sectors, including administration, service, trade, distribution, hospitality, industry, transportation, logistics, construction, finance, insurance, healthcare, and education, aligning with their qualifications and desired employment duration.
At the Forum, job seekers have a unique opportunity to directly interact with employers. This direct interview, which is a prerequisite for increasing employment opportunities, allows them to get firsthand information about the working environment, conditions, and career development from the employer.
The Forum not only provides a platform to develop partnerships with companies in the region but also emphasizes the importance of vocational training. The training programs are designed to approach market needs and increase employer engagement in the education process. Academics also inform job seekers about the exciting possibilities for professional skills development, inspiring them to enhance their qualifications.
The first part of the Forum was dedicated to the public lecture—master class “The role of self-motivation in career development,” which was led in an interactive format by education expert and trainer Paata Papava.
