Batumi, Georgia: The 16th International Exhibition of Tourism and Hotel Equipment EBIT 2025 was held on May 9-10-11 May, 2025, in Batumi. The main goal of the exhibition was to unite local and international companies.
Notably, the fair was organized by the Georgian company Expo Batumi. The venue for EBIT 2025 was the Sheraton Batumi Hotel.

International Exhibitions and Events Company (hereinafter GEONET EXPO LLC), EXPO BATUMI LLC, is one of the leading companies in Georgia. The company EXPO BATUMI has been launched so that it can organize international exhibitions in the Caucasus region.
Notably, the mayor of Batumi, Archil Chikovani, attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition. The opening ceremony was held on the first day, i.e., May 9, 2025. The Mayor shared the snippets of the fair on his Official Facebook page along with a short note.
According to the information provided by the mayor, it should be noted that about 70 local and international institutions participated in the exhibition, EBIT 2025.
Purpose of the Exhibition EBIT 2025
However, this exhibition aimed to introduce the equipment/services of local and foreign countries in the country. Therefore, the companies got various benefits by participating in the exhibition. The companies had the opportunity to get acquainted with their services/products online, especially in front of a wide audience. The companies were able to connect with local and international companies and visitors. Similarly, they also shared their experiences and hosted various seminars and informational meetings.
In short, this platform provided a great opportunity for tourism companies to unite in one space, exchange information about innovations and new services, seek business contacts, and build future business relationships.
The Batumi Mayor addressed the participants of the opening ceremony of the exhibition with a welcome speech. “Events like these are important for the region like Batumi,” the mayor noted in his speech. According to him, they help attract investment, create jobs, and, most importantly, create new perspectives for the tourism ecosystem.
