Batumi, Georgia: The Chairman of the Youth Organization “Georgian Dream”, Giorgi Chakvetadze, took part in the event related to the opening of the forum and addressed the participants of the project. The event will be held on July 24-26, 2025, in Batumi.
Giorgi Chakvetadze paid attention to the legislative changes implemented in terms of youth policy development, steps taken in this regard, and plans. Also, on the measures implemented in the regions to improve the conditions necessary for young people.

- Deputy Minister of Regional Development of Georgia, Zurab Iashvili,
- Minister of Education and Sports of Adjara, Maya Khajishvili,
- Chairman of the Committee for Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Adjara High Council, Davit Bacikadze,
- Deputy Head of Youth Agency Anzor Megrelishvili,
- acting director of the regional youth center, Tamar Gabaidze,
- representatives of the youth sphere from public agencies.
Forum participants will discuss the following issues over three days: youth policy and regional challenges; the importance of informal education in the youth sector; the experience of self-governing organizations in implementing youth policy.
Forum is organized within the framework of the program of the Regional Youth Center, “Supporting Intellectual, Cultural and Career Development of Youth” in cooperation with the Committee of Education, Science and Youth Affairs of the Georgian Parliament and Tbilisi City Council.
The event is held under the auspices of the “Local Self-Government Youth Forum“, which was founded in 2018 on the initiative of the Committee of Sport and Youth Affairs of Tbilisi City Council and is held annually in different municipalities.
The forum aims to deepen cooperation between municipalities, develop joint projects, and promote youth policy implementation.
