At the Batumi state music center a joint concert of children’s choreographic ensembles “Mtatsminda” and “Gen ” was organized. The concert was held with the active support of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara and the City Hall of Batumi.
The Minister of Culture and Sports of Georgia Tea Tsulukiani attended the joint concert. She was accompanied by the Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara Maya Khajishvili. The event was also attended by the artistic director of the Batumi State Music Center Zviad Bolkvadze, the artistic director of the Batumi Ilia Chavchavadze, Professional State Drama Theatre director Aleksandre Kantaria and Famous actor Zaza Papuashvili as well.
The choreographic performance by the children’s ensemble was held in the background of live music, which was about the history and culture of Georgia. Almost 300 children participated in the performance. The performer of the group used the music from the movie “Roots” (composed by Aleksandre Rakviashvili) as well as the musical compositions “Avfrindeb and Free” (music by Zviad Bolkvadze, lyrics by Moris Fotskhishvili) . They also performed on the music of “Adjarian Ballad” (music by Giorgi Moygharishvili).
It is worth noting that Zaza Sikharulidze directed the evening event. Similarly the main choreographers were Giorgi Farsenadze “Mtatsminda,” and Giorgi Oniani “Gen.” Jason Khomerik was the musical director, Zviad Murvanidze was the head of the stage group and Beso Beselia was the artist.
A Number of the Choreographers mesmerized the audience with their performance which included Nino Surguladze, Zurab Svanadze, Lela Sanadze, Bachi Dumbadze, Sergo Babaiani, Teona Gorgodze, Kakha Kukhalashvili, The name of the musicians includes Lasha Katamadze, Amiran Chaghalidze, Elguja Jinchveleishvili, Giorgi Malakmadze, Ruslan Makharadze, Guram Abuladze, Giorgi Ghogoberidze, Temo Bakuri, Tengo Okruashvili, Andro Shanidze, Mamulo Zakaradze, Marika Tsereteli, Lasha Kvernadze, Levan Sharvashidze, Vitali Chkhaidze, Irakli Akhalaia.
At the end of the event the national anthem of Georgia was performed. The citizens who came there to enjoy the performance lauds the organizer and performance. They said that this was one of the best performances they have enjoyed.
