The construction ceremony of the first skyscraper on ” Ambassador Island Batumi ” was held, marking the beginning of a major investment project aimed at transforming the region into a modern tourism and business hub.

On the occasion of the start of construction, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of the Adjara Government Sulkhan Tamazashvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili, and founder of the company Tornike Keburia, launched a symbolic capsule in the foundation.
Sulkhan Tamazashvili noted in his speech that the Autonomous Republic of Adjara is one of the important centers of economic development of the country.
“Today, the Autonomous Republic of Adjara is one of the most important centers of economic development of the country, which has an interesting, very attractive investment environment.” A clear example of this is the Ambassador’s artificial island project, which is a very important investment for the development of the region. It is noted that the implementation of the project is already in the active phase, a modern, high-standard multifunctional center will be created on the Black Sea coast, which will unite residential, commercial, and recreational spaces,” said the Chairman of the Adjara Government.
The construction of the first skyscraper will be completed in 2029 and will be a symbol of development and progress. It will establish Batumi and Georgia even more firmly on the world’s investment and tourist map.
Members of the government got acquainted with the project of the multifunctional complex and toured the island, where the implementation of the $200 million investment project is underway.
