The local administration of the Bolonisi city of Georgia Launched a cleaning drive. This Cleaning drive was held under the framework of the “Cleaning Campaign ”. This was held by authorities on November 26, 2023, with the help of locals and workers of some political parties.
Notably, many municipalities in Georgia have launched a cleaning campaign to make their cities clean and neat.Many municipalities also launched the plantation drive as well to make localities green. The green project with the plantation of maximum trees is also very necessary to mitigate the negative effects of climate change.
The Bolonisi administration official also stated that these kinds of cleaning drives would be launched in future as well. The participating members also encouraged other citizens to come forward for these campaigns so that city can wear a new look as the clean city of Georgia
Notably, after the campaign drive, the area was looking very clean; the locals also appreciated the drive and desired to become part of this drive in future for cleanliness.
It is worth mentioning that the objective of this cleaning camp was to raise awareness on the different aspects of cleaning.This also aims to involve the local municipalities and civil population.
The people who were present on the campaign site said that “they are really happy to be part of this drive; moreover, being part of this drive, we can do our best to make the city clean and neat”.
All the people who came to this campaign as volunteers brought with them a big carry bags to collect the garbage and other waste materials. A truck was also engaged to take the garbage away from the site to dispose of it at the proper waste management site.
Some of the members of the organisation were collecting garbage and waste material from the area.Similarly, some people were busy putting the collected material into the carry bags and sacks.
Almost 20 to twenty-one members were part of this cleaning drive. They collected scattered waste material, including old tyres, broken household things, old carry bags, used plastic bags, used old newspapers, along many other waste things.
