To mark the International Day Against Bullying a training session was held in the Keda municipality. The meeting was held in the administrative unit of the Dologna in Keda Municipality of Georgia. A significant number of young people attended the session.
The main objective of the event was to apprise the participants about bullying in society. The training was held within the framework of cultural events of the education, cultural, sports, tourism, youth affairs, and monuments protection service of the Kedi municipality. Bullying in schools and other educational institutions is the biggest problem. Small kids are the are most vulnerable section of society that needs special attention for the protection of mental and physical health of the school children.
The term bullying is used when a person or group of the person is targeted intentionally with repeated words to cause the stesss, and mental harassment. Sometimes the victim is forced to commit suicide due to the continued bullying by the the abusers. This also has been came to light that most of the time the people who abuse the victim hold an influential position in society.
The key speakers of the event while addressing the young people encouraged them to speak against this evil if they think there is any such incident happening anywhere in the locality. A dedicated presentation was also held on this occasion to explain each aspect of the problem to the students. The presentation explains what bullying is, how it can be prevented, and what are the necessary measures that we need to implement to curb the evil as soon as possible at the earlier stage.
A demonstration was also held to give practical knowledge about the problem which was appreciated by all. The attendees of the meeting also asked some questions regarding the issues which were addressed by the experts present at the time.
