Tbilisi: In a significant development, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has recognised the Caucasus International University(CIU). CIU is the only private university that got such recognition in Jordan.
The CIU is the top level renowned education institute in Georgia. It has been 29 years since Caucasus International University (CIU) – LLC was founded.
It is to be specifically mentione that the university was founded as a medical institute “Clinitsist” in 1995. Later on the university has received a license from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Georgia.
Again, In 2005, it was granted Accreditation by the Accreditation Council of Higher Education Institutions. In 2006, the name and founders of the institute, “Clinitsist”, were changed, and it was formed as a multi-profile higher education institution – Caucasus International University – LLC.
The University has provided information regarding this on their social media page. On the Facebook page of the University, it was stated that “Caucasus International University has been recognised in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan!
It should be noted that the Caucasus International University is the only private higher education institution from Georgia recognised in accordance with the requirements set by the Ministry of Education of Jordan.
After the post of the university regarding this progressive achievement, social media users also congratulated the university’s management on this success.
One user, Mzia Daushvili, commented, “Good luck to Caucasus International University”. Nana Amiranashvilvi commented, “Congratulations, this is great news”.
Similarly, many other users also commented the congratulatory message and wished the best of luck to the university.
On the other hand, university management stated that this is a step forward to expand the network of the universities beyond the country. it also said that more initiatives will also be taken in future to get recognition for universities in other countries as well.
The university students also expressed their happiness over the achievement of university in a foreign country.
