The Mayor of Chkhorotsku Municipality, Jumber Izoria, held a meeting with representatives of the mayor and deputies of the city council on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
The City Hall of Chkhorotsku Municipality shared the glimpses of the meeting on its official Facebook Page on December 8. The City Hall also shared a small note about the meeting along with its highlights.
As Jumber Izoria pointed out at the meeting, the top priority of the municipality is to provide maximum support to the local people, and everything is being done to ensure that the ongoing and implementation projects are tailored to every citizen.
Jumber Izoria noted, “In Chkhorotsku, we have made infrastructure and social programs more effective and beneficial for the population. For the good of our citizens, let’s increase the budget in almost every direction.”
“Our goal is to meet and understand the needs of the locals first, support everyone, and do the best we can to help them,” said the mayor of the municipality.
In the meeting, which was attended by the Chairman of the City Council, the Mayor, and the Deputy of the City Council Chairman, the needs in the villages, ongoing projects in the municipality, and planned events were discussed.
The meeting noted that special attention will be given to the installation of external lights and road infrastructure in administrative units’ areas in the near future. Drainage channels will be arranged so that the population does not have problems during bad weather.
In addition, the organizational issues related to setting up New Year lights and pre-New Year events were discussed at the meeting. The working meeting was attended by the heads of the City Hall Culture and A(a)ip Cleaning and Facilities Service.
