Dato Gogua the Mayor of Chkhorotsku Municipality along with the first deputy Gocha Chikovan and representatives of the Sakrebulo faction “Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia” visited in villages Letsurtsume and Lesichine. They visited the villages to have a meeting within the framework of the project “One Day in the Village”.
Dato Gogua the mayor on this occasion has listened to the needs of the locals and got acquainted with the problems there. He also assures the public that their problems will be solved on a priority basis. At the same meeting with the mayor, the residents raised and spoke openly about the problems they were concerned about.
The residents also asked local government representatives to solve them with immediate effect. Moreover the locals also expressed their gratitude for ongoing projects and expressed hopes that the projects will be completed very soon.
It is to be specifically mentioned that in the In village of Letsurtsume, Egyarzen district, several residents are unable to cultivate their land due to lack of connecting roads. The mayor offered assistance to locals and instructed relevant services to resolve issues raised at the meeting promptly.
The mayor also got acquainted with the road rehabilitation works in the village of Lesichine during his visit. In the village of Lesichine, Saakatsio-Salashkhio district road rehabilitation is underway. Asphalt work of the road with length 4km. . At this stage, preparation for the return road is underway to make the traffic movement more easy.
Meeting with a population in administrative units within the framework of the project “One Day in the Village” is conducted step by step according to districts.
The construction machinery was also deployed at the construction site of the villages. The Mayor said that this was a productive meeting and soon more such meetings will be arranged to know the problems of the locals of the area.
He also assured that with financial assistance from the central government world-class facilities would be provided to people as well.
