Today a meeting was held under the mayor of Chkhorotsku Municipality Dato Gogua. He held a working meeting with many other representatives to discuss the key issues of the municipality as well as to get information on the problems of locals.
It is to be specifically mentioned that the meeting was attended by First Deputy Mayor Gocha Chikovani, Deputy Mayor Valery Todua and Head of Infrastructure, Architecture and Supervision Service Teimuraz Malania.
It is to be noted that the working meeting discussed the needs of the administrative units, planned infrastructure and social projects. At the meeting, they also Summarised the results of last year’s work. The mayor thanked the village leaders for their work at the same time.
As per the information so far available in the public domain In Chkhorotsku Municipality, general meetings and consultations of settlements will be held in order to select a project that will be financed from the Fund of Projects in Georgian Regions under the “Village Support Program”.
It is to be adeed that general meetings of settlements and consultations with the population will start from February 5 and will be held in all administrative units step by step. The receiving project proposals from citizens will be carried out in the City Hall in various filed like Infrastructure, Architecture and Supervision Service and administrative units of the municipality – in the Mayor’s offices.
The representative of the municipality also said that the amount of a total of 446 000 GEL would be spent to finance small infrastructure projects in administrative units of Chkhorotsku Municipality within the framework of the “Village Support Program”.
The mayor said the support of the villages is very important as the people of the villages need special attention. He also said that with the active support of local authorities the, the residents of the villages will get additional benefits.
