Guria, Georgia: Chokhatauri Local Action Group announced a competition called “Climate and Energy Efficiency” for young people living in Guria, between the age of 13-20 years. The competition is fully supported by the European Union (EU).
Additionally, this competition will be held within the framework of the regional energy efficiency campaign, “Georgian Energy Sector Reform Program” (GESRP). The official details of the competition were shared by Chokhatauri Local Development Group on their official Facebook account on May 5, 2025 (Monday).
Notably, the main aim of organizing this competition is to create a work that is visually captivating and thought provoking for the viewer. It should also motivate people to adopt energy-efficient habits in their daily life.Â
As per the information, youth interested in participating in the competition must submit a photo, drawing or poster/graphic design. The submitted work must be motivational and representative of the issue of urgent importance.
Moreover, one participant can represent a maximum of 3 works in any category. Special prizes will be given to the authors of the winning photo, drawing or graphic poster. The winning works will also get published on the Chokhatauri Local Action Group’s Facebook page and website.
Interested participants can submit their works in three categories – photo, drawing, poster / graphic design. Those who wish to participate should send their works through their email – chokhataurilag@gmail.com . In the title of the email (Subject), participants should indicate the competition’ name – “Climate and energy efficiency”. The deadline for submitting work is May 13, 2025.
