The Chairman of the Government of Adjara, Zurab Pataradze, together with representatives of the legislative and executive authorities of the region, got acquainted with the existing and planned infrastructure projects in the “City of Dreams”.
In parallel with the construction of residential buildings, the construction of a kindergarten has begun on the territory, and a competition has already been announced for the preparation of design and cost accounting documentation for a new public school.
“The City of Dreams” will soon have a 300-year-old modern standard kindergarten that will be fully adapted. At this stage, the foundation is complete and preparatory procedures are underway for the first floor tile installation. The main works will furnish the yard, children’s attractions, and garden inventory. The cost of the project exceeds 6 million GEL, and the construction is planned for July 2027.
It is noteworthy that recently, a competition was announced for the preparation of design and cost accounting documentation for the construction of a new public school in the same territory. The project envisages the construction of a fully adapted three-storey building for 1,500 students with all the necessary space and infrastructure, laboratories, sports areas, a library and an assembly hall. The territory will be fully equipped and fenced. An open sports field and green spaces will be arranged.
Zurab Pataradze also got acquainted with the progress of the second phase of the construction of the “City of Dreams”, where iron-concrete works have already been completed in the buildings and roofs, facades and engineering systems are being arranged, interior tiling and door-windows are being installed. At the first stage of the project, the apartment was handed over to 582 families. Currently, three 8-storey and six 13-storey buildings are under construction, with a total of 1,077 apartments.
Along with members of the government, the ongoing projects in the “City of Dreams” were reviewed by Archil Beridze, a member of the Parliament of Georgia, Ramaz Jincharadze and Mindia Diasamidze, members of the Supreme Council of Ajara, heads of the Batumi and Khelvachauri municipalities, and representatives of local governments.
