Tbilisi:Â The Caucasus International University (CIU) will host a large-scale international scientific conference on innovation and entrepreneurship. The conference will be held three days consecutively on February 9, 10, and 11.
It is to be specifically mentioned that the goal of the high-level scientific event organised by CIU is to promote the development and internationalisation of the latest scientific research on innovation and entrepreneurship in Georgia. Moreover this will also deepen and promote cooperation between the academic, public and business sectors among young scientists.
On this occasion about 140 participants from different countries will participate in the conference. Speakers will include from universities such as Alcala University (Spain), University of Applied Science Entrepreneurship (Estonia), Manisa Jelal Bayar University (Turkey), IDRAC Business School (France), CREA University (Italy) and others.
Georgia’s state and private business structures also participate in the work of the conference; among them noteworthy are the National Bank of Georgia, Project “Produce in Georgia”, Georgian Fintech Association, and Georgian Competition and Consumer Protection Agency.
It is to be added that the university has launched many seminars and conferences on different topics of interest. These are held periodically to raise the awareness of the student community on different topics.
Many national and international level institutions will participate this time in this event as well. Some of the top companies are SMEDA, DIT, Universidad de Alcala etc.
In the present, technology-driven, entrepreneurship has also taken a unique turn. The conference will also discuss various aspects of innovation. A large number of people are expected to participate in this event worldwide.
As per the organisers of the conference this will also encourage the young people to take the entrenpreuship on a priority basis.
More entrepreneurship will also ensure the growth of the overall economy of the country. Similarly it is also expected that with the growth of innovation and entrepreneurship huge job opportunities will also be created in the country.
