The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia announced on its Official Facebook Page, that Lagodekhi Park’s construction was finished on October 25, 2024.
The Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Mzia Giorgobiani, the Deputy Director of Municipal Development Fund, Giorgi Tsibadze, and representatives of the local government inspected the newly completed recreation park in Lagodekhi.
The territory of Lagodekhi Park was built on 4 hectares and divided into different types—sports, cultural, and recreational zones. New spaces have been created, which will make it much more comfortable for children, young people, and their parents to rest in the park.
As part of the project, an artificial lake, amphitheater, panchatories, sports court, tech ball and tennis tables, paths, and recreation areas were rehabilitated in the park’s area. Also, public toilets, new footpaths, and open cafe spaces have been installed.
The construction of Lagodekhi Park was a significant undertaking, completed by the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure. Their efforts have brought a new, vibrant space to our community.
The park’s ugliness was implemented within the framework of the state program “Renewed Regions,” which cost 6 million GEL. This change was only possible with the help of the municipality’s mayor, Jondo Mdivnishvili.
The people of Lagodekhi are very glad to know this. They appreciated this work through comments on the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia’s official Facebook page.
One Facebook user, La Li Ko, praised the mayor, saying Lagodekhi has the most excellent mayor. Another user, Natia Miquchadze, appreciated his work and said, “It is beautiful. He decorated our Lagodekhi.”
