Copenhagen, Denmark: With the support of the National Wine Agency, six wine producers of six family cellars participated in the exhibition “RAW Wine Copenhagen” held in the capital of the Kingdom of Denmark, Copenhagen. The exhibition was held on June 8, 2025, Sunday.
The National Wine Agency of Georgia shared glimpses of the festival on its Official Facebook Page. The Agency also shared some details of the festival along with its glimpses.
According to the details provided by the Wine Agency it should be noted that at the exhibition “RAW Wine” (The Artisan Wine Fair) good quality natural, organic, and biodynamic wines are gathered. The exhibition is organized by the famous wine master from France Isabel Legeron.
Guests who came to the exhibition, wine professionals, representatives of the relevant commercial sector, and customers were allowed to taste Georgian wineries: “Akhmeta Wine House”, “Andria Wine“, “Doctor’s Bio Cellar“, “Manavi Wines“, “Matiashvili Wine Cellar“, “Sherman Family Winery“.
The exhibition was attended by the Georgian Emergency and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark. Georgian entrepreneurs received support from the Embassy of Georgia in the Kingdom of Denmark to represent wine in Copenhagen.
This year Georgian family cellars were also represented at RAW Wine exhibitions in Shanghai, Paris, Verona, and Tokyo.
The presentation of Georgian wine in Denmark is important for increasing the popularity and diversification of markets in Scandinavian countries. It should be noted that, with the support of the National Wine Agency, in recent years, many important marketing activities have been carried out in the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of Denmark, and Iceland, resulting in increasing interest in Georgian wine in these countries.
